Jersey Shore is a reality television series on MTV that It follows eight housemates in Real World-type style while they live, work and party at the New Jersey Shore.
Season 2 of the show was filmed on location in the South Beach area of Miami Beach, FL. The housemates resided in a converted first floor suite of The Metropole Hotel.
The second season was announced by MTV and they confirmed that the entire team from season one would be returning. Filming for the first half of the second season will begin in Miami and then move back to Jersey for the completion of the season.
In the lead up to the season premiere, Sorrentino said “Everywhere I go, there’s just mass amounts of people. There’s people showing up at airports, wanting autographs, girls, it’s insane. It’s like The Beatles, man.”
